Comments:	I served with the lads of Dirty 30. in 1965 - 66. We were based in Hameln (Hamlin)(Pied piper fame) we were posed to Aden in 1966 Active service. went back to Germany then to Isle of Skye to build a runway. From there I was posed to 10 squadron RE. Went to kenya and Persion gulf. Went back to Padderborn to finish my 6 year stint.

Comments:	It is a great site. I am really pleased to see the photo of the refurbished sqn bar mainly because it was my design. I will never foreget the 2 Nov 1980 when I had my weapon stollen on ex. and that when my tp (3 tp) returned from a hard task they imediately went searching for the smg - in the river in the fields until 2300uhrs - I am so proud to have been associated with the tp and sqn( the police found the weapon the following morning in a boys bedroom) I got bust by LtCol Doby

Comments:	I have seen the sapper696 site, very interesting. Via a long "eway" I have found this interesting site. I am not familiar with the English military traditions but have placed a Looking for call and additional personal info of a WWII veteran Mr. C.R. "Charlie" Kenton. Despite a long search time I have not found any trail of him. As far as I known he was also a sapper serving in the 15th scottish Div. and was at the war's end in Lubeck Gemany.
